PRP and targeted rehab for patellar tendinopathy (jumper's knee) and iliotibial band syndrome.

Runner's knee is an umbrella term for several overload injuries in and around the knee — primarily patellar tendinopathy (jumper's knee) and iliotibial band syndrome. With diagnostic ultrasound we identify the exact structure and treat with PRP and targeted rehab.

How it works

  1. Single visit (~45 min)
    1. 01Ultrasound examination & diagnosis~15 min
A licensed physiotherapist maps tendon status (patellar tendon, iliotibial tract) with diagnostic ultrasound, assesses biomechanics and confirms the treatment plan.
    2. 02Ultrasound-guided PRP injection~30 min
A blood sample is centrifuged and the platelet-rich plasma is injected with ultrasound precision directly into the affected tendon or structure.
  2. 03Progressive rehab & load management8–12 wk
Individual running and strength programme with gradual return to running, plus follow-up to prevent recurrence.

What is runner's knee?

Runner's knee isn't a single diagnosis but an umbrella term for pain in or around the knee with running. The underlying cause is often patellar tendinopathy, iliotibial band syndrome or patellofemoral pain syndrome — and the right treatment requires the right diagnosis. Without structured evaluation many end up in a loop of rest, relapse and frustration.

How we treat runner's knee

A licensed physiotherapist performs a clinical and biomechanical examination complemented by diagnostic ultrasound. Depending on the diagnosis we combine progressive rehab, ultrasound-guided PRP injection for tendon degeneration and gait analysis. The goal is to get you back to running sustainably — without relapse.
